Texas-based J.W. Logistics LLC expanded its south Louisiana operations this week, leasing 30,120 square feet in the Pelican Point Commerce Center in Gonzales, according to St. John Properties, which handled the lease.
J.W. Logistics specializes in last-mile fulfillment and delivery for businesses. This is the company’s third Louisiana location, with sites also in Baton Rouge and Shreveport. J.W. Logistics, which plans to hire about 15 employees for the warehouse, specializes in delivering appliances, home goods and retail goods.
J.W. Logistics has more than 40 locations across the country and also provides sorting and installation services to its clients. The Pelican Point space is adjacent to Louisiana Regional Airport, which services the Ascension Parish area.
